    New member need help

Hi,I have a dwg file which is a 3d model of an item. It has no measurements on it.What i'd like to do is "flatten" the model to 2D and turn them into flat CAD drawings.I have no CAD software so wondered if this was possible in a free download (mac) and an explanation of how it can be done.(Will i need to add my own dimensions for example or are they somewhere hidden?)Thanks !

Inkscape is free and runs on linux, windows and mac.

I've inly ever used it for 2d - but it will import dwg files and there are millions of 'how-to' inkscape videos on youtube.
Hopefully it will do what you need :-)
