    *New to 3D printing* Product is missing critical details.

    Good day. I recently bought the Creality Ender 3. Today I printed a test cube I downloaded from Thingiverse It was a fairly quick print, taking me about 30 minutes. However, when I looked at my finished product I noticed critical details were missing. I tried searching through the internet trying to find an answer, but I am lost to all the types of terminology that comes with 3D printing.     Unfortunately 3d printing is not like printing a document. There is a Slicer learning curve and you bought a very entry level printer that will probably cause you more issues than you want.. Also when you download models it is always good to import them into 3d builder to check them for errors before slicing. You may want to search basic tutorials for whatever slicer you are using.

    Thank you for the prompt response. I have the Creality Slicer program that I load it into; however I'm not sure what to look for. Do you have any advice as to what to look for that may be causing the issue?

    No, I have never use that program. It took me about 6 months to get to know the ins and outs of the slicer I do use. This is on you to read, and experiment until you figure out how it all works. Once you do you will be good to go, but this is not anything remotely close to plug and play.

    I've located the issue. My belts weren't tight enough to make such precise movements. Thanks to everyone for their input.
