    3D Printing Transmission Towers

    Having recently bought a 3D printer I decided to see if I could produce a scale model of a transmission tower as I work in the UK industry. Below is my current progress on a 1:10 scale L4m D tower, printing out bars indivdually and then using M2 bolts to connect. Ideally I would have liked to use a smaller scale but found the bolt sizes would be too small. Eventually the tower will be over 2m in height so a long way to go!
