    The Holidays!

How are you guys spending Halloween?

For me it was a regular day at school, and now I'm lounging in my foyer waiting with my feet up and doing legal research.

Halloween meant nothing in Australia until the late 1990's when a combination of "Produced in America" children's programs and the Chinese manufacturing explosion brought commercial product to our stores.

Since Australia is poly-cultural, it was hard for any one culture to take over. I don't think Halloween was observed by the British in the same was as it was by the Americans.

Halloween is now called 'Trick or treat' which is another stupid idea from America.
I make the best surprise treats, they are Brussel Sprouts covered in chocolate, and for a trick I always ask them to do a triple back somersault.
