Printing small text and fine lines with SLA (Elegoo Mars)

Recently purchased an Elegoo Mars after having a CTC MakerBot clone for many years.


1st print failed, nothing stuck to the bed but I levelled the build plate again and it seems good now. Will the bed stay levelled if gentle when removing parts?

2nd print worked, it was a skull ring from Thingiverse with way more detail than the FDM printer could manage so happy with that.


Trying to print a pendant 1st one at 35x25mm, was too small and lacked a lot of detail. 2nd one from the same file 42x36mm was better but not quite there.

Text was faintly visible on the surface but seems to be too small.


Am I asking too much of it? Or is this a settings issue? Using Chtubox slicer with the standard 0.5mm settings.

0.5mm setting ?
seems a bit big for an sla - but you don't say what the 0.5mm is applied to.
