well the first thing you're doing wrong is not giving us any information :-)

what machine, what slicer, how is it connected: usb, network, sd card etc.

So was the first print of a card that came with the printer ?
And the one that won't work you sliced yourself ?

In which case you are most likely using the wrong profile in your slicer and the start up g-code is incorrect.
So search for your printer and 'start up g-code' to see what you need to put in the slicer :-)

    I have a longer LK4 pro. 220x220x250mm
    using Cura 4.5
I am running off SD card that came with printer.
The first two files were already gcoded on the card.
The one that wont run I sliced myself. but then I went back and got a file off the SD and sliced it.
    That file is running now.

the file that wont run is for a box I want to make.
When I first sliced the file I got it from the sd card. Cura did its thing and I saved the file onto the sd.
    but it wont run.

The first time I tried, I copied the stl file onto the sd card and tried to run it . doesnt show on printer screen.
so I put the sd back in computer and started cura. I chose the file from the sd card and sliced it with std settings.
I put the sd back in printer and chose it. then warmed up table and nozzle and pushed start.
It went to a corner and stopped there and just sat there for over an hour.
printer screen shows ET and progress but no error code.
That is when I chose a file from the sd card and sliced it.
    it is running now.

Im thinking it may have limited out on Y travel.
but it gives no error code.

I just now loaded the file into cura from my computer HD and now it wont slice.
    It says: Unable to slice
then: none of the models fit the build volume. please scale or rotate the model to fit .
I am now trying to learn how to manipulate cura.

do you have a YouTube video to recommend?
