MP Maker Select Plus Help Please

Hi. I am having issues with filament not feeding correctly. The extruder gear is covered in filament shavings and there is a grinding sound. I basically replaced everything on the hotend. I am at a loss and need some advise. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Photos attached.TY Scott Z0

judging by the blob on the end of the filament you need a ptfe liner in your hotend.

Basically there's a cavity that will get filled with molten plastic and that blocks the nozzle, leading to back pressure and that's why the extruder is grinding.
