    Crash Recommendations, Please...

    Hi Friends!

    Here's a fun one:

I'm brand new to this forum, and I'm hoping to get some expert advice on a time-sensitive purchase.

What that means is that I need to decide on a printer to purchase by EOD tomorrow.
My initial budget is limited to <$500, and 3 options would be great.

With that in mind, my only important feature is full-color ability,
in order to print character prototypes like the image attached.

A brand I've been pointed to is Creality...any opinions on those?

Thank You to anyone who can help speed me to better decisions.

For under $500 you can buy a sub $200 printer like this: https://www.ebay.com/p/2291750255?ii...yABEgIcmPD_BwE . You can then buy yourself a 32 bit mainboard like the $20 SKR 1.4 Turbo like this one here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BIGTREETECH...22419138c12303 . And then you can get a MMU2S kit for $300 from Prusa research right here: https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/upgrades...it-mmu2s.html# . And YES in this light you very much can have a full color 32 bit FDM 3d printer for under $500. You just have to have some skills about you to pull it off. Otherwise you need to come up considerably on your budget or lower your bar of expectations, lol.

except the mmu doesn't offer full colour.

The only way you;ll get true full colour for under v$500 is to learn how to paint :-)

Well, how about 2 diamond hotends in an IDEX configuration? One for the primary colors, and one for black, white, and dissolving support filament. I am sure this can be built for under 500.
