Fourth of July Twisted Rook by FormLabs

Formlabs shared this today. This really shows how nice the Form 1+ 3d printer is. The resolution is really incredible. I wouldn't have guessed it was 3D printed.

Has anyone had a chance to use a Form 1 or Form 1+ yet?

I want to see the same piece in black. And I would like to see the Knight.

I've been using a Form1 for a while now; haven't upgraded to the Plus yet. It works great when it works, but I've also had problems with it printing only part of my part, especially when attempting tall pieces. Despite long exchanges with Tech Support, I'm not sure why it does that.

They have just come up with a black resin, fortunately for the chess enthusiasts.
