Hi guys!
I want to make a basic keychain with two colours. I’m thinking of a simple tag with a rectangular base and a 3D word on top of it. I want to make the base black but the word grey. However, I have an Creality Ender 3, which only has 1 extruded and can only print 1 color at a time.
I have been looking at this tutorial, which involves printing one layer of a color, pausing, swapping filament and resuming:

but it’s not the best idea for me because my keytag is very precise. I will have to pause the print immediately after the base is printed to stop any black from getting onto the word. It’s hard because after the base is printed, the printer will immediately start printing the word. I can’t have any grey on the base, or black on the word.
And I’m Wondering if there is a way to make my printer print the base, wait long enough for me to pause the print, swap, and resume? Is there a slicer option?

I hope you guys understand what I meant!
