    Red face Artillary Sidewinder X1

Just replaced my antique Makerbot Replicator 1 with an Artillary Sidewinder X1. First thoughts:

    1. Assembly was pretty easy. Took a couple tries to get the ribbon cables in their sockets right.
    2. QUIET! When people say this thing is quiet, believe them!
    3. I've heard it's hard to get to know the "Repetier" program, but a quick tutorial I found on line got it going for me.

Seems the longest part of a small print is waiting for the bed to cool down and release the part.

    I too am inpatient.
I hit prints with a small rubber hammer I made. Or the back of a viking axe I printed.
I find a sharp tap will often release a print before the bed is cooled.

Different machines but similiar printing surface.
