    Creality Ender 3 extruder nozzle zeros itself off and below bed

    So we don't know what happened, things were working fine and now every time we go to press the Auto-Home feature, the extruder nozzle now zeros itself off and below the bed.

    We've tried playing around with some settings, but were at a wall as to what to do to fix this.

    I've attached a pic of what the extruder does when we Auto-Home.

    I would start by resetting the Ender 3 to factory settings.


    M502 ;Restore Firmware Defaults settings.
    M500 ;Save settings to EEProm

    Then I would Check all end-stop switches with a M119 ;End-stop States normal state an when switch is activated.

    We went through the menu and we're not seeing any where to reset to factory settings?

    From the Menu it should say something like Restore fail-safe. Then Store settings.

    Ok so we scoured the menus and see nothing in reference to that.

    I've attached pics of our menu setup and none of the options seem to mention a Restore or anything.

    It should be under the Control menu,

    Ok thanks, I think I found it now. I just need to have my dad come over and help me level the bed properly again.

    So when we try to click on Store Settings inside of Control, the printer just beeps really loud and doesn’t open any more menus or options.

    Any idea now?
