New 3d Printer - "Replicator"
A new 3D printer - "Replicator" uses light to transform gooey liquids into complex solid objects in only a matter of minutes. The new printer relies on a viscous liquid that reacts to form a solid when exposed to a certain threshold of light. Projecting carefully crafted patterns of light essentially 'movie' onto a rotating cylinder of liquid solidifies the desired shape all at once.

so do all dlp printers. again - what's new ?
The 3D printer works by shining changing patterns of light through a rotating vial of liquid. A computer algorithm calculates the exact patterns of light needed to shape a specific object
Okay that is really neat :-)
The best bit is that the unused resin is 100% recyclable. Not the case with conventional resin printers.Last edited by curious aardvark; 02-05-2019 at 01:02 PM.
