Made In Space, the company which will be launching their 3D printer to the International Space Station sometime in August, discussed some of their other plans with 3DPrint.com a few days ago. The full details of their plans can be found here: http://3dprint.com/6190/3d-print-space/

Basically what they want to do is open up 3D printing from space to companies and individuals. For instance businesses, or Universities could soon be able to 3D print CubeSats from the Space station and launch them directly from the station. This could save companies a ton of money.
