3D Printed Electronic Dress Exposes Skin Based on Data

We have all seen 3D printed dresses and other fashionable pieces by now, but how about 3D printed dresses which interact with the data around us. Designers Xuedi Chen and Pedro Oliveira have created just that. The X.Pose data-driven dress will expose skin based on the data it receives by changing the opacity of the material it's made out of. Further details as well as a video can be found here: http://3dprint.com/5802/x-pose-3d-printed-dress/.

Check out a few pictures of this remarkable 3D printed dress below. What do you guys think? Could this be the future of clothing to some extent?

Would it make sense to ask:

    "What do you gals think???"

An expensive and shameless cry for attnetion as what, a deterrant to casually and shamelessly cries for attention?

Either I don't get it, or they put a lot of work into a project with a flawed premise.

So... Did anybody notice the default state is transparent? If you lose battery power for your cloths, everything is going to go transparent. Wouldn't it be safer to have the default condition being non-transparent?

D'err Roxy. It was designed by a man. It is a wonder the filament colour wasn't 'Natural'.
