3D Printed Hats and Amazing Wedding Headpiece

3D Printing and fashion, the market has not taken off yet, mostly because of the materials we are limited to right now. Most are rigid, and not something that's comfortable to wear. Having said this, materials are getting better, and softer as the 3D printing market begins to mature ever so slightly. Hats however do not need to be soft. In fact hats can be somewhat rigid and still comfortable to wear.

Famous English milliner, Gabriela Ligenza, has come out with her own line of 3D printed hats, and they are quite the masterpiece. Ligenza is a firm beleiver in slow, artisanal fashion, and these hats certainly fit that style. The most impressive piece is probably the wedding headpiece which is actually made up of a poem called "Day Dream" by A.S.J. Tessimond. Check out this hat below, followed by a few others from her collections:

Now the question is "When is 3D printed fashion going to go from "wearable modern art" to "something people would actually be willing to be seen in public wearing"?"

Here in Atlanta any given church service is likely to have at least one lady with a hat at least as gaudy as these... The third one actually looks tasteful IMO.
