Operation Quiet Machine

Phase 1 of operation quiet machine complete. This is the Mainboard cooling fan. The stock one was annoyingly high pitched and loud.

Next up is the fan on the front of the feeder stepper.

Well, operation quiet machine is a partial success. The fan is still pretty loud, but it is a lower pitched sound instead of the high pitched whine of the stock fan for the board.

I'm thinking I can put a speed adjuster on it and maybe turn down the speed a little and that would help also. Maybe just a resistor to cut the voltage to the fan a little would work also. Have to rig something up and see.
