    Maximum steppers on Repetier firmware?

Is there a maximum number of steppers that repetier can control? I'm researching Hexapod 3D printers, and am also unsure if it can handle hexapod kinematics.

Repetier can have a maximum of 6 extruders. Is that what you are asking?

Not quite. A hexapod 3D printer, needs 6 stepper motors for just movement. 3 for X,Y,Z and 3 more for pitch, yaw, and roll.

Repetier is setup to have 4-Axis. X,Y,Z and the currently being used extruder. And you can have up to 6 extruders. The software does not have any concept of pitch, yaw and roll.

I will be modifying repetier firmware for Hexapod kinematics, I just wanted to know if there was an inherent limit in the software where I had to work aorund.
