Question PA12 HP MuliJet Fusion ( nylon polyamid ) bonding

    Hello,

I'm designing a Rapala lure prototype ( 17cm long ) and I need to stick together two half parts of it but I'm wondering which glue to use

the wall tickness is thin ( around 1.75mm ) even if there are larger bonding area ( the head and the tail ) so my fear would be a melting and the strengh of the bonding too even if for that I'm going to use an additional system by using a special shrink tube who shrink immediately with boiling water

    Thanks by advance

if you're using a hp multijet, why not just make it in one piece with holes for the hooks and hook wire.
probably going to be esier than trying to find a glue to stick nylon.

I can't as I use tungsten wheight inside

Maybe I could ask to the printer to add them inside but it is online stuff so I don't think they will be enjoyed to do this ...

pretty sure you can't open a multijet fusion machine during printing.

Use tungsten shot and fill the hole after adding weight.

Given what happens to a lure, glueing it is just asking for trouble.
