Thread: Hotend Problem

    Hotend Problem

Hello people, I'm new here in the forum and for 1 year in 3D printing.
I hope you can help me, I've been solving my problem for a month, but without success.

    Basic data:
    - Tronxy X3 Bowden extruder
    - 0.4mm Nozzle
    - Autodesk Fusion 360
    - Cura 3.0.4

My problem is that after about 10-15min the hotend nothing more extruded.
And if I restart the printing without any change, no more filament comes out.

    What I have done:

    - With the original Hotend
    - Nozzle Cleaning
    - Throat Cleaning
Everything without success. Starts well, but after a few minutes less and less is extruded.

    - Buy a new Hotend (Clone E3D V6) with Nozzle, different Throats, Heat block, Push Fitting and PTFE Tube
    - Everything without success, exactly the same problem.
    - tried different Throats with PTFE tube and and Full metal
    - tried different filaments PLA, ABS, PP
    - Because the filaments were 1 year old, I bought a new PLA filament.
    - tried different temperatures from 190 ? C to 240 ? C

The problem is not the extruder, because if nothing else can be extruded, I try to push it by hand and it comes out very little or nothing at all. If I then clean the Nozzle or do a "cold pull", go it again for a few minutes.

I hope you can help me, because I've run out of ideas.

    Edit:
Prints with retraction to 4.00 mm and speed 30mm/s

push through the hotend without nozzle

push through the hotend with nozzle

( nozzle cleaned shortly before )

    1 Print with 220?C

    Pictures from the first print

2 Print with 195?C ( 2 Print because 1 print was too hot for the Filament )

Pictures from the second print ( left 220?C; Right 195?C )

    how that should look like

Before the problem started. I could print with 60mm`s without over or under extrusion with straight and sharp edges.
Likewise, the top layer was perfect.

    Hello Phunkstar
Can you check if your hotend able to heat up 220 and push filament all the way too nozzle??
if not that will be the place you start to fix
and if it go to nozzle and easy coming out
and you try to set retraction to 4.00 mm
    and speed 30mm/s
i gonna help you more if you have any more detail or vedio or pic

    Hey PaulHuang ,
I sent you a private message because I can not edit my thread

Can you change a Bowden extruder to a standard?

No, unfortunately I do not have one there.

But if the extruder can not extrude anymore.
Then I can barely push that through by hand
