Thin filament line

Hi

So I have a 1.mm nozzle I want to print something big with heavy lines..
The filament comes out very thin like a thin line with tiny balls more like a pearl necklace.

Attached is a picture with my setting someone told me would work good..
Anyone know what is happening?

First I would reduce the PLA temp to around 200-210C. 245C for PLA seems to me an extremely high temperature.

My PLA prints occur between 192-202C though with so many variations of PLA you may need a higher temp than I use.

Second I would increase the Layer height to .4 and maybe reduce the print speed by 20-30%.
Top and bottom layer thickness do not need be any thicker than twice the layer height, a layer thickness of 10 times seems a bit much

I will try that.
On my filament roll it has the temp at 245 and bed 60.

This seems unusual to me so I did some research. (Are you sure it is not some other type filament)

You are right about that..
I read the label wrong, it is celsius.

yes we know it's celsius - but are you sure it's pla ?

Unusual for pla to be printed above 230.
The only pla i have that prints best 230-240 is the new ULtra with nano-diamonds. And that's noticeably harder and denser than normal pla.

RC is bang on for everything else. :-)
