    Has Anyone tried MakerPlate?

I've been reading a lot lately about MakerPlate. Has anyone tried it yet and have any feedback on how it works?

It is designed to secure multiple items on it. It's costs $89 which isn't that bad, but I would still like to know if anyone here has used one yet.

It has these tabs in place to hold different sized/shaped items on the plate.

It Holds objects up to 125 x 250mm. (5" x 9.8"). I believe it only works on the MakerBot Replicator 2, but I may be wrong.

Depends on what you use it for ? I don't recommend high speed CNC milling of metal parts ;-)

Not clear to me what would be the point in a 3D printing machine.

The use case they describe on the website is for printing things on little acrylic baseplates (which they sell of course - but pretty cheap), like busts or letters. I could also see it being used when you have your own custom shaped baseplate that you may want to print out in multiples and then when you want to print something on top, you use the makerplate to re-center your object and print out your customizations.
