As the second annual Make to Care contest gears up, makers and inventors are asked to submit their projects by September 15th through Call for Makers at the European Maker Faire. The contest focuses on the creation of assistive devices for the disabled. The finalists will attend the opening event for Maker Faire Rome, where they will give presentations. The winners will be given a tour of Silicon Valley, meeting those behind numerous startups and companies focused on 3D printing and prototyping.
