3D printers from Italy-based WASP have been behind many innovative projects, from 3D printing gluten-free food to constructing an entire village, and the company hates to turn down a challenge. They rose to the occasion when Rome's Teatro dell'Opera approached the company for a new project: 3D printing for theatrical set design. Five DeltaWASP 3MT 3D printers were put to work over the course of three months, 3D printing 223 parts that were ultimately assembled at the theatre in Rome.
