Phil Hall teaches Product Design at The Windsor Boys' School in the UK, and brought 3D printing into his classroom just a few years ago. Since then, he has worked to add a second machine to the school as his students enjoy hands-on lessons in product design. Hall sees it as key to the students' use of 3D printing that they not only learn to print downloaded designs, but also to design their own creations. He has won awards for his approach to teaching, bringing the STEM curriculum to life in product design, and now shares his insights with us as we continue to put the Spotlight on Educators.
