MakerBot Workspace Creations Added to Digital Store

These are some really cool designs that I see have been added to the MakerBot Digital Store. They seem very useful, and priced at $3.99, I think they are worth it.

Get more details on these new designs via the 3DPrint.com article at http://3dprint.com/2926/makerbot-workdspace-creations/

It seems interesting. I'm curious if this system gets any traction. The quoted 25 hour build time puts this kind of thing into perspective. I think one can get a good desktop organizer for the cost of the digital model, never mind the cost of filament to build this.

The organizers are 8 pieces, so you don't have to print the entire thing in one go.

This is probably the first item on the digital store that I think is actually worth paying for. You don't see stuff like this on Thingiverse very often. All the other stuff was commonplace on thingiverse, so there was no reason to spend money for them.

Just remember it is a pre-sliced file for a Replicator 2, not an .stl file.

Yeah. Still, the aggregate build time is a lot.

Their site doesn't say how much filament it takes to make them all.
