Formlabs Introduces SLS 3D Printer and Form Cell Automated Solution

Today, Formlabs has taken a big step out of the realm of SLA 3D printing with the announcement that they will be releasing their first selective laser sintering (SLS) 3D printer, the Fuse 1. The Fuse 1 was announced today at the Digital Factory conference, which is being held at MIT Media Lab. That's not the only major announcement Formlabs has, though - they're also introducing Form Cell, an automated production solution that leverages the Form 2. The resin field has become rather saturated lately, but if they've really come up with an inexpensive SLS printer that works, they will have that market to themselves, at least for a while.
