    University of Waterloo Receives Grant for AM Lab

    Canada’s University of Waterloo is about to have one of the biggest 3D printing/additive manufacturing facilities in the world, thanks to one of the biggest grants to a university for such technology ever known in Canada. The university received $8.9 million for their Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Lab, which has now received a total of $27 million and in-kind support. The lab will work on a wide range of research as well as working with companies in Canada in new AM processes. Read more at

    Congrats to the Canada’s University of Waterloo, they absolutely deserves this! My dream is receiving a grant from New Matter for one of their 3D printers but my high school is relatively new to 3D printing (we've started new project in collaboration with proessays) and I predict a long path towards this goal.
