    Flashforge USA Delivery *choke*

edited, ill send this directly to Peter.

Delivery fees seem to be very excessive on the Flashforge USA site. Made an order of $58 for a bed and glass plate and the grand total including delivery is $140.. ouch!

Yeah but we're shipping a hotbed and a glass plate, not a kilo of cocaine!

Are you able to source a glass plate locally, Geoff? I have a feeling the cost is high because they need to prevent the glass from breaking during transit.

I probably can, if they are charging $18 U.S for thermal glass I can probably get it for the same here, it was more that exact size I was after, my brother in law is taking forever among his other billion projects to get my new aluminium plate so I was going to give this glass a go, maybe its better than the glass I tried last time (which was pyrex) it took the heat ok but it just didnt get hot enough to make stuff stick.

my current aluminium bed is warped to hell, I re-did my kapton tape yesterday and when I saw the bed out of the machine I was amazed I was printing anything at all the way it is, the edges are well and truly curled up.
