A new exhibit at The National Gallery in London includes a 3D printed recreation of the Borgherini Chapel located in Bramante's San Pietro in Montorio. The installation is part of a show centered on the collaborative work done by Michelangelo and Sebastiano, a relationship which stretched over a period of nearly a quarter of a century, and shows the drawings done by Michelangelo which Sebastiano then painted in the chapel. The 3D printed reproduction was created at 90% scale and printed using a flexible material that allowed it to be attached to a frame of steel and plywood.
