Polaroid Releases New 3D Pen and Materials

Polaroid recently released its newest offering in the UK: the Polaroid Play 3D Pen, which is being marketed as an "easy-to-use creative tool for leisure use." The Polaroid Play 3D Pen offers colorful 3D creativity, as users can build their own freehand 3D models with the included four reels of filament; if that's not enough, you can also purchase a separate box of 20 different filament colors. It also comes with the Trace App, which allows you to stencil your own photographs, and then bring them into glorious, 3D life. It's worth noting too that for larger projects Polaroid do offer very competitive 1kg reels of PLA for the Polaroid Play 3D Pen. Info here: https://www.polaroid3d.com/en/filament/ or available to buy here: http://www.amaze3d.co.uk/product/pol...la-filament-2/.

Pen looks identical to the cheapo chinese one I bought a few years back.

Nowhere near as useful as you think it might be :-)

I know this version has undergone a lot of rework, I don't think Polaroid would just rebrand a piece of junk without extensive testing. I've had mine for 6 months and I use it a lot - it's great.
