Access 3D Services is hosting an Increasing Independence for People with Disabilities 3D Design Contest from April 1, 2017 to May 31, 2017. All designs must be the original idea of the contest entrant and must be for a physical item that that will benefit persons with disabilities by improving quality of life, addressing disability-related barriers, or otherwise increasing independence and autonomy, and must be capable of production on an FDM 3D Printer.


One Grand Prize Winner and one Runner-Up will be chosen, and will be announced approximately sixty (60) days after the end of the contest. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a Makerbot Replicator+ 3D Printer and accessories and $200 in eSun 3D Filament 1.75mm PLA+, and the Runner-Up will receive an Airwolf3D 3mm Filament Gift Set and a 7Tech 3D Pen!
