Viewing objects grid with no angles on objects
Hi guys
I've been playing around with AD123 design and I'm having an annoying problem viewing my work. I need to be able to set an object down on the grid and see it completely birds eye when looking at the grid from the top. I can't tell if my objects are aligned in the right spots but the angle to the parts keeps me from being able to do so. Every time I think I have something perfect then I go to pan around and they aren't even near where they are supposed to be.

I'm really not sure exactly what you're asking, but maybe some pics would help?
From what I think you're asking, anytime I have issues (In SU) aligning something to a position, I create a new object at the location I want, and then drag the main object to it, then delete the temporary object.

Ok i guess i meant between the two view modes. Orthalocical or what ever. Im trying to learn more on how to stuff and spent a couple hours adding cylinders for screw turrets on an altoids case. But im having a problem there too.
Is there a way to widen or thicken walls of a premade object like a box? The cad jockey that created left the OG object left walls at only like .6 thickness and it tore apart trying to remove it from the bed. Its literally translucent!!!!
