Tropical Labs Builds a 3D Printer From a Coffee Maker
Washington, D.C.-based electromechanical systems lab Tropical Labs specializes in custom electronics, and they're very creative about their work. The creators of the Mechaduino have also built a delta-style 3D printer out of a coffee maker, using a simple design and only ten additional components. I can see making a coffee maker with a3d printer - but the other way round seems a waste of a good coffee maker :-)
