Drama erupted recently surrounding the NexD1 3D printer from Germany-based Next Dynamics. The NexD1, which was said to be able to 3D print using multiple materials and even print electronics, was never shown in full action, and backers took notice. Following cancellations of a live stream, transparency, and proof of product, Kickstarter has pulled the plug on the contentious crowdfunding campaign, citing a violation from its Integrity Team and suspending funding.
