Digital Art Student 3D Prints a Sea Monster

An Irish digital art student named Amy Doran recently designed a sea creature, which was based off of a monster conceptualized for the sequel of Avatar, for her final college project. In order to replicate her sea creature design on a large physical scale, Doran utilized i.materialise’s Printable Resin to create a 22-inch model of her design. This material was chosen due to the large build size capability, affordable price, exceptional detail capabilities, and the smooth surface finish that eliminates the need for post-processing.
