The University of Munich's Ali Ertürk has developed a revolutionary 3D imaging technique that allows researchers to turn bodies of both animals and humans transparent. The technique enables an in-depth study of internal body structures and formation of delicate cells like neurons. Ertürk and his team have written a paper, entitled "Shrinkage-mediated imaging of entire organs and organisms using uDISCO", covering their research.
