A Great Dane in New Zealand recently beat cancer as a malignant tumor was removed from his leg. Not only that, he was given a 3D printed titanium prosthetic, created by a veterinary team and a host of experts. The surprisingly light prosthetic, created by RAM, was about 350mm long and weighed about 300 grams. After a quick surgery, Leroy was up and walking and agreed that in seeing him make such fast progress, it had been well worth the effort. Two months later, Leroy is still cancer free.
