The Cincinnati-based educational 3D printing company Polar 3D has reached a new milestone this week, as their Polar Cloud platform has officially reached 100,000 3D prints. On top of that, they’ve also closed out a $2 million convertible note financing, which will be used to accelerate the growth of the updated Polar Cloud 2.0. In addition, Polar 3D has brought two 3D printing pioneers onto their team, enlisting Dan Newman as CTO, as well as David Thornburg as Director of Education. Read more at
