Need help with 3d printing CAD model

    Hey,
For an assignment for my internship, I have to make their existing 3D models (which are made in SolidEdge) ready for printing. Apart from repairing software like netfabb, is there software that simplifies a 3D model? Hollowing out a model and thickening the walls etc..

    Thanks,

    Stijn

For simplifying a model, reducing vertices etc... there is meshlab. as to thickening walls etc then you may need to use CAD software of some sort.

Check out this repair service https://makeprintable.com/ pretty good with fixing wall thickness issues and has a hollowing feature.
