    Best way to print models download off online

    I am Having issues printing out models that i have download off online, they do not coming in as one whole model so the model ends up breaking when printed

    Post a link to the objects you are downloading so we can see what they are.

    What slicer program are you using.

    What printer are you using.

    We need this information to be able to help you.

    I am using maya a program and the printer is projet 660

    Give us an example of one of the models you are attempting to print (a link to where you downloaded it from) and some photos of the prints you are getting. We need to see what you started with and what's happening to best help you.

    Try converting the files to STL using Meshlab, then running them through the Netfabb Cloud to repair the file.

    Usually works for me.


    If you need a file other than an STL to print, put the repaired file back into Meshlab, and export it in the format you need.
