Minecraft VR is Available for Oculus Rift

Over the past year, Minecraft's developers have been working on bringing fans directly into the game through virtual reality. In April, a VR version of the game was released for Samsung Gear VR, and now, after months of hard work, Minecraft VR is available for Oculus Rift. Better yet, it's being released as a free update to Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/146697/minecraft-oculus-rift-vr/

Turns out it's terrible in VR. Motion sickness for everyone.

I've been suggesting that they switch to a 3rd person trailing camera like Luckey's Tale for months. Either I am not contacting the right people, or they don't care, but the proof that it will work already exists.

There's an existing 3rd person camera mod that works perfectly or selecting tiles to interact with, the only thing that needs to change is the camera distance and acceleration and decouple the camera from the joystick and presto. Done.

Luckey's Tale is the premier example of this camera style. It works great. It's a shame that people have it stuck in their heads that 3rd person VR is somehow terrible. It's actually the opposite. The user and their entire body becomes the camera. The bound space follows the character and you are free to move around that character in 3d space, sort of a god's eye perspective.

I could and would play minecraft for hours like that. As it is now, it's just unplayable in VR. And they know this, so they give you a "virtual living room" where you can sit on a couch and play on a virtual screen in order to, and I quote "take a break from full immersion"... I already have that in reality, so, that's pretty stupid.

I don't like it in VR as well. I'd rather play the usual version.

I haven't heard that Minecraft is coming out in the VR version. Maybe you mean the AR version? VR is not yet convenient for playing Minecraft. Yes, and there is an open world, and for the current video card, it won't be easy. Running and jumping in VR is also not convenient. So this is not very interesting news yet. I think it's better to play the standard version on the computer for now.
Jordanaveryif, your son, is very interested in Minecraft. I advise him to play Minecraft with mods. He will be able to find a suitable Minecraft server on this site https://best-minecraft-servers.co/minecraft-factions-servers. There he will play with other children, and he will find like-minded people.

VR is a great technology! I cannot even comprehend the amount of work that was necessary in order to create something like this. I was thinking about getting a VR set at some point, but I don't know if I am going to use it. A friend of mine has told me about https://tabletsoflondon.co.uk/vr-hire and I've decided to rent one from there in order to see if I really need it. Apparently, I love playing with it, but I don't have the necessary time in order to do that every day. If you ask me, I wouldn't buy it, since I don't really need it

In today’s world virtual reality is really considerable as UK thesis writing service and workers work daily in developing new as well as artificial technology. I have been suggesting this kind of article more often because students are eagerly want new technology for CV writing help online the sake of their academic career.

Well a dedicated gaming server is a big computer that hosts a series of video games for a client. This type of server such as minecraft prison servers enables a reliable, stable, more secure and fast connection to your favorite online gaming experience.
