    Spiderwebs and hair?

    Anyone else thats new to 3d printing find the pla after a print when pulled remind you of Spiderwebs or thin hair?

    spider webs - defnitely.
    amazing how thin that stuff can get.

    i know. so thin i cant believe. i have thin stringy things all over my work area. i though i walked into a spider web it gave me a scare only to realize it was the pla

    it can look like a nylon fishing line. Maybe you can print a long line and print the fishing rod and go fishing haha

    Polypropylene has been known to string out so damn thing I can't even see it. I get the crap on me all the time. It's so thin it actually snags on my fingerprint ridges.

    Annoying as all hell, can't see it to pull it off, and when you do manage to snag it - it just sticks to the other hand. Happens to me a couple times a week.

    On some prints,it's worse than others,but a few passes with a heat gun or small blow torch gets rid of most of it.

    agree with all of you it can get so thin it amazes me. it would we great to make a wig out of LOL and use for halloween for spider webs.

    make i should try the the fisherman print with the thing pla string

    According to me it is spider webs.It is thin stuff to look
