Rocket Aerodyne and NASA are teaming up in a project to produce an MPS-130 CubeSat propulsion system that will use a green propellant, AF-M315E. This will offer much greater capabilities over the more traditional hydrazine propellant. Not only that, the new modular system will be almost completely 3D printed, allowing for faster manufacturing, greater productivity and speed in assembly, as well as affordability for all involved in satellites, whether in the public or private sector.
