Engineering student Alexandra Kline came up with an idea to help runners properly pace themselves while training - a digital pace-setter that lines the perimeter of the track with LED lights that light up according to a preset pace. She took the idea to digital product development company Viget, who loved it and started developing it. Thanks to hard work and a LulzBot Mini 3D printer, the product is now in the working prototype stage and has received great feedback from universities and professional runners.
