Designer Michael Roybal has recently unveiled Zizzy, the 3D printed personal robot created to help those with mobility issues. The robot includes 3D printed pneumatic artificial muscle and strong grippers that enable it to carry things like medicine, food, drinks, and smartphone devices to the user. Zizzy is comprised of open sourced hardware and software, and will continue to be updated with improved parts and functioning. The project is currently available on Instructables.
