3D printing technology in medicine isn't just for humans anymore. Dr. Matthew Allen of Cambridge University recently used the tools provided through advanced manufacturing to create a model of a dog's knee for partial knee replacement surgery as well as to 3D print surgical guides to aid during the operation.
