Yano de Laet is walking like never before thanks to the 3D printed assistive device called the Hibbot. The hands-free walker is the result of a collaboration between physiotherapist Ria Cuppers and engineer Dirk Wenmakers with some help from the engineers at Materialise that acts not only to help with mobility but to provide therapy to the users muscles. The device is modular and therefore can be adjusted to a child's needs and works to keep their pelvis and hips aligned with their legs while still allowing them the use of their hands.
