    looks like fun - but maybe over complicated ?

    I got lost about halfway through the explanation of the rules. :-)

    And I've played more than a few card and board games in my time.

    The idea is good.

    But instead of all those extra rules, just have a time limit on the balancing side of things. Maybe 5 seconds per piece you're placing.

    Got to be a 3d printed timer around somewhere :-)

    I agree with the aardvark. way too complicated.

    Thanks for the feedback guys. We made a simpler version of the game called Shapes the Game: Survivor that even kids can play. The rules are much, much simpler and even kids can play. This is the version we have been demoing at events with lots of foot traffic lately. You can see these rules at the second half of the rules page:
