Lund University Master's student Emelie Strömshed has developed a simplified process to 3D scan, model, and 3D print prosthetic arm sockets. Her research helped offer one young girl, named Neya Pfannenstill, a perfectly fitting prosthetic, and stands to give prosthetists easier access to using 3D technology.
